She may look a bit serious in her photo, but in person Biscuit is a very sweet and soft-natured dog. She adores being with people and will bond very closely with you. She's the sort of dog who will be very grateful for anything you do for her! Biscuit is happy enough to meet other dogs but would prefer to have you all to herself rather than sharing you with another dog. She's not a dog to be left alone a lot, so she'd like to be with you much of the time.

Griselda has had a rough life to date and would surely have been euthanased if she hadn't been saved by SADS. She's in need of a special home where someone has the time to devote to her. Griselda has the usual loving hound-type personality and enjoys being with you. She's even good with cats! She's a big dog and currently pulls with gusto on the lead, so you'll need to be reasonably strong. She would benefit from being taught to walk on a Gentle Leader. She also has a skin condition that requires her to be bathed at least once a week, preferably twice.

Toa was a little wary when she arrived at SADS but she's become very people-friendly and is now showing her lovely affectionate nature. She loves cuddles and is very happy snuggling up to you for the evening to relax or watch tv together. She still needs to develop her confidence a little but she's well on the way. Toa is toilet-trained and has some basic training. When left alone inside the house, she's shown herself to be a model citizen with no chewing or destructive behaviour. That said, she's happiest with human company and will be very loyal to you, so she'll do best in a home where someone is around a lot of the time. We think she's well suited to an adult home or a home with older children.
