my foster home: When Maxie
first came to stay with us she was
very frightened and wary of being
patted. She has made great progress
in a short time and will now run to
greet us when we get home and snuggle
up with us on the couch. Maxie loves
her food and is always eager to inspect
what everyone else is eating. She
loves to play but is equally happy
to lounge around and wait for passing
traffic so she can roll onto her back
for belly rubs. A quiet cat, Maxie
still has a lot more confidence to
gain. She's a little scared of our
two other cats and prefers human company
making her ideally suited to a home
where she'd be the only cat. Maxie
has blossomed into a beautiful, loving
cat and would make the perfect companion
in a quiet household.

From Abby's foster home: Abby has a really pretty face and is an extremely affectionate little cat. After a week hiding out behind the sofa, Abby has totally come out of her shell and follows us round the house, watches TV on our laps and is always head-butting us to get a stroke or two. She's still a pretty shy cat and likes to hide in her bed, in her box, under cushions and anywhere she can squeeze into, but is getting more outgoing every day. Abby would prefer to be the only cat in your life.

Sherlock has
been through it all. He came into the
shelter at 12 years of age, had all
but 3 of his teeth removed and now he
awaits a permanent home. A real smooch,
Sherlock is looking for a home where
he can spend some time outside, lazing
around on a verandah and an occasional
stroll around the backyard. He'll come
running everytime you move towards the
kitchen as he loves his food - and yours
too! Sherlock is waiting to hear from
